Happy Friday Loves!

Since I shared my tips for taking care of your skin a few days back, and my last point was to use great skin care products, I thought it would only be appropriate to share some of the products I’ve tried and loved.

To start off, lets talk about a product that’s unlike any I’d heard of before.  When I first checked out the VIICode eye masks, I was quite surprised to find out that you don’t wear them for 5 to 15 minutes during the day, like most masks, but you actually sleep with them on, preferably for 8 hours.  While I was worried about that being uncomfortable, I also liked it and was quite interested to try it.  I never feel like 5 to 15 minutes is enough to transfer all the nutrients and moisture that products promise to deliver. I also liked how the masks are packed with vitamins, fatty acids, and amazing ingredients, like grapeseed oil and seaweed.  Ingredients that do exactly what you want your skincare products to do, hydrate, increase collagen production, and fight free radicals.  All things that lead to brighter, plumper, younger looking skin and decreased wrinkling.

I was also interested in VIICode’s Oxygen Eye Masks, because they are meant to treat wrinkles and darkness under the eyes.  I’ve always struggled with have bags under my eyes, even in high school.  Lack of sleep was a culprit for sure, but sugar and not eating very healthy were definitely others.  And while I’ve made major changes since then, like eating much more healthy, drinking lots of water and tea, and cutting back on sugar, getting more sleep isn’t always an option.  Especially when you’re trying to turn a fun hobby into your full time job (which takes more work than a full time job), but still have to work almost full time!  And while I obviously wouldn’t trade the opportunity to follow my dreams and have a job that I love and find creatively fulfilling, I certainly wouldn’t mind getting more sleep!

When that’s not possible, I turn to living as healthfully as I can and products like the VIICode eye masks.  After about two uses, there was a noticeable difference in the skin under my eyes.  It was much brighter, smoother and was very hydrated!  I am always skeptical of products, I heard so much growing up that expensive products don’t work any better than their cheaper versions, you’re just paying for the name.  And while that may be true in some cases, it’s definitely not always true, and I’m always delighted when I find a product that actually lives up to it’s claims!   I was gifted one box, which includes 6 sets eye masks, so I wasn’t able to go through the whole 3 box course that is recommended, but I was still happy with the results I saw.  The results are not permanent, meaning if you stop using them for a while and continue not getting enough sleep, your circles will get dark again, but that’s to be expected with stopping any product and not changing your lifestyle.  I found when using them every few days, under my eyes were much brighter and my skin felt smooth and hydrated.

I also really enjoyed using them!  They go on very easily, and if you don’t play with them much, aka take them off and put them back on more than once (like I unwisely did the first time I used them, trying to figure out how close to my eyes to place them), they stay on very well.  They’re very comfortable to wear, and feel amazing for the first while that they’re on!  They have a cooling sensation, and I felt almost as if I was getting a spa treatment when I put them on and snuggled into bed!  If you’re looking for a very pleasant way to brighten, smooth, and hydrate the skin under your eyes, definitely check VIICode out!

Under eye patches are “it” right now in the beauty soiled. May need to try these for those days where my eyes are super puffy!

Ooh I love discovering new skincare and I’ve been especially interested in eye creams, treatments and masks lately, so this is perfect! I’m so intrigued by eye masks that you wear overnight, these sound so luxurious!

This is the second post I’ve read about this product this week, and while the first one had photos that showed the results, your post really explained the product in an informative way. You’ve convinced me that I definitely need to try this product out! I had dark under-eye circles (since I was a little girl) that look like I got punched in the eyes! It would be incredible to use a product that actually helps!! Thanks for sharing your experience!

I’ve never tried an under eye mask, but feel like they are everywhere right now! I also suffer from the darkest circles under my eyes, so these really appeal to me. I definitely will check them out 🙂

Sleeping with them on would probably make me think it might be uncomfortable, but after reading your review I’ve changed my mind completely! I’d absolutely love to try this out to get rid of those dark circles (more like bags) under my eyes. Some sleep wouldn’t hurt either. 🙂
