Graphic Sweaters, and How to Style Them

Happy Tuesday!  I’ve missed talking to you guys, and apologize for being a bit MIA here lately!  I’ve been working on a big project that’s been taking up a lot of time, but I finally get to tell you what it is today!  Make sure to check back on IG to see the news! 🙂

Today I wanted to share with you a favorite from my winter wardrobe, graphic sweaters.  I only own two right now, but I’m on the hunt for more that I think are clever and cute.  While any kind of clothing with writing on it (that doesn’t say Gucci or another high-end brand’s name) might remind of what you used to wear in elementary school, that doesn’t mean it can’t be styled in a sophisticated and chic way!

My favorite way to style these sweaters is to put an edgy twist on the outfit.   I love throwing a moto jacket on top and wearing them with coated or ripped denim.  Add some boots, especially black ones, and you’ve got a great look!

My second favorite way to style them is smart.  I love topping them off with a blazer, especially a plaid one!  It works best on thinner sweaters, but ends up being a super warm way to layer for the colder months.  Add some skinny jeans or fitted pans and pumps, and again, you’ve got a stylish, sophisticated look.

A third way I’m planning to style them soon is with mom jeans an sneaks.  Fun and casual!

I’m a big fan of the velvet pumps (especially since they compliment your graphic T)! The purse though, is to-die-for! Very nice!

I’m not a big fan of graphic sweaters, because to be honest I’m not really sure how to style them properly. That’s why I mainly avoid wearing them. But the way you styled it with the leather jacket and this YSL bag is so good and so damn stylish. And I love the shoes so much! Definitely, need to try something like that.

Before reading your post I had no idea how to wear graphic sweaters. You just nailed it girl! Love how you combined skinny jeans+leather jacket+sweater – that’s the best choice for sure! Would love to participate in your Giveaway! Sounds very interesting!

No one styles a statement sweater like you! Don’t think I would have ever thought to style mine with a moto and gorgeous block heels like yours. Can’t wait to see your look with Mom jeans and sneakers next 🙂

Graphic sweater and tees are my favorites, I always find them so funny and cool to wear. But if I’m honest, at this point I should probably stop buying them, I have way too many!

I’m obsessing about your YSL bag btw!
