Happy Friday! Welcome to Part 2 of my Autumn/Winter Capsule Wardrobe Picks! If you missed the first part, explaining a good bit about capsule wardrobes and focusing on clothing, the be sure to check it out here. In this part, I’m sharing some accessories that I’ve picked up or am looking to buy for the fall/winter season. Since I’m focusing more and more on having a good wardrobe of basics, I think that accessories are especially important and worth investing in. They take a look from pretty good to amazing quite easily!
:: Black Crossbody Bag ::
Cross body bags have become so popular in the last year are two and are definitely a style thats here to stay. I have a gold & black one by Camelia Roma that I love and wear all the time! It was such a good investment and is a staple in my capsule wardrobe. However, most of the bags I own have gold hardware (I don’t know how I became so obsessed with gold!), so I’ve been wanting to round out my accessories arsenal and get one with silver or gunmetal hardware for a while. Since getting my leather jacket, which has gunmetal hardware, this item has moved way up on my shopping list. I’ve seen this Chanel bag quite a bit on Insta the last few months, and absolutely love it! Since it’s wayyyy out of my budget now (and probably will be for a long time 😉 ) I’m on the lookout for a bag with the same black & gunmetal combo and a similar edgy vibe. So far I’ve found a few that fit the bill…

A good timepiece is an essential any time of year, but I added it to the list for similar reasons as the black & gunmetal bag: wanting to match my leather jacket & round out the colors in my accessories arsenal. I’m not sure if I’ll go as dark as gunmetal, but I’ll at least get silver. I love scarves almost as much as I love big chunky sweaters! They’re soooo cozy and comforting! I’m looking into getting one or two for fall since almost all of mine are pretty old and have bright colors I don’t wear anymore. I love the first two scarves I linked below, which are from Ilymix. I have been loving my black & gold BP. sunnies from Nordstrom (they’re another favorite capsule wardrobe item of mine!), but once again was looking to get something silver-toned match better with my jacket. I loved these when I first spotted them, and will definitely be wearing them a lot this fall! They’re also from Ilymix, so you can use ‘LAURELLE20’ on them as well. September 21, 2016Oooh, I love the black tote bag in this entry. It’s so sleek and pretty! I’m also quite in love with gunmetal at the moment, but I feel that for me, it’s not something that I’d wear every day, unlike something like rose gold. Ha ha. But I guess there’s always a different style for a different occasion!
